Location: Southern California (Based out of Chatsworth, CA)
Pacific Floor Company Inc. is hiring motivated individuals for summer positions assisting with the maintenance and refinishing of gymnasium sports floors throughout Southern California.
This is a hands-on role working on basketball courts/ flooring.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with sanding and refinishing gym floors
- Apply finishes and coatings to sports flooring
- Operate equipment such as floor buffers
- Work efficiently as part of a team on job sites
Requirements:
- Physically Demanding Role: must lift 50+ lbs, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive in Chatsworth by 5:30 AM
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work well with others
- Candidates must have prior construction experience
- Experience with power tools and/or floor equipment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Proper identification and documentation verifying authorization to work in the United States must be provided upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license (a plus)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8–12 hour shifts
- Summer seasonal work (with potential for continued work)
Pay:
- $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
- Some projects may pay up to $60/hour depending on scope and experience
