Ora Living is a HIPAA-compliant remote patient monitoring and care coordination company focused on elderly, high-risk, and chronic-care patients.
We help patients, families, physicians, and facilities stay connected between visits through connected devices, onboarding support, monitoring workflows, family coordination, and proactive care management.
We are already working with a large Virginia senior-care network representing roughly 10,000 patients and are expanding our Virginia pilot.
Role Overview
Ora Living is hiring a Head of Sales & Partnerships / Virginia Market Director to lead growth, partnerships, and patient activation across Richmond and Virginia.
This is not a traditional software sales role. We are looking for a healthcare operator and relationship-builder who understands facilities, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, families, and senior-care workflows.
The right person will build referral relationships, manage the local pipeline, oversee a family liaison / patient activation specialist, and make sure patients move from referral to active remote monitoring.
This is a field-based leadership role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable visiting facilities, physician practices, referral partners, and community organizations throughout the Richmond / Virginia market.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with physicians, PCP groups, geriatric practices, behavioral-health partners, SNFs, ALFs, discharge planners, case managers, and senior-care organizations.
- Develop facility and physician partnerships for RPM, CCM, BHI, and care coordination.
- Identify eligible patients and build a reliable referral pipeline.
- Manage and oversee a family liaison / patient activation specialist.
- Own the full patient activation funnel: referral, contact, consent, device delivery, setup, first reading, and active monitoring.
- Track daily pipeline status, blockers, next steps, and owners.
- Represent Ora Living professionally in the Richmond and Virginia healthcare market.
- Work with leadership to refine the Virginia go-to-market strategy.
- Help create a repeatable playbook for patient acquisition, onboarding, and active monitored patients.
Ideal Background
- Healthcare sales, provider relations, home health, hospice, SNF admissions, senior living sales, clinical liaison, discharge planning, care transitions, Medicare Advantage, or physician-network experience.
- Existing relationships in Richmond / Virginia healthcare are strongly preferred.
- Experience selling or partnering with physicians, facilities, case managers, discharge planners, or senior-care organizations.
- Strong operational discipline and the ability to manage a pipeline, track follow-ups, and hold people accountable.
- Comfortable being in the field and visiting facilities, practices, and referral partners.
- Understanding of elderly patients, chronic-care populations, Medicare patients, or post-discharge workflows.
- Clinical background is helpful but not required.

Success is not just meetings or introductions.
Success means eligible patients are identified, contacted, onboarded, set up, and actively transmitting readings.
The Head of Sales & Partnerships will be responsible for turning Ora Living’s Virginia pilot into a repeatable growth engine.
Compensation
Base salary range: $85,000–$110,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus tied to partnerships, referrals, patient activation, and active monitored patients.
Ora Living is an early-stage healthcare company. Benefits are under development and may include health insurance support as the company scales.
