Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in deterring criminal activity and ensuring the safety of individuals within your assigned area.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises, including CCTV surveillance systems, to ensure security measures are effective.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and any relevant information in detailed shift reports.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Requirements
- Ability to write detailed hourly shift reports.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet all licensing requirements for armed security personnel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
