Duties
- Operate POS system to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer food orders with professionalism, ensuring quick service and satisfaction
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and giving correct change
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to support the culinary team and ensure food safety standards are met
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines throughout your shift
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently when assisting with food prep or restocking supplies
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Food service customer order management experience using POS systems.
- Strong background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store operations demonstrates your ability to handle cash handling responsibilities effectively
- Culinary experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous for understanding food safety management and sanitation practices
- Proven time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining accuracy in transactions and order fulfillment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
