Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying protective treatments to maintain a pristine appearance
- Assist with furniture arrangement, linen changes, and replenishing supplies to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues, stocking supplies, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, or specialized surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with hospitality industry regulations and company policies
- Support other team members during busy periods or special events to uphold high standards of service
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred
- Proven skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial responsibilities within hospitality or industrial settings
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality environments enhances your ability to meet guest expectations
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and methods is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Housekeeping management experience is advantageous for those interested in supervisory responsibilities
