Central Nurseries is currently looking for a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to join our team.
The Account Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with clients throughout RI, MA and CT and will serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts. This position will develop landscape maintenance estimates and enhancements for new and existing clients. The Account Manager works in conjunction with a Field Supervisor to deliver the highest quality of landscape maintenance services while keeping in line with contract specifications.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients on a regular basis making sure we are meeting and exceeding their expectations
Develop maintenance agreements and estimates using company templates
Proactively present site enhancement ideas to existing customers
Ensure renewals of each current account within the customer portfolio
Inspect properties ahead of scheduled service, identifying problems and developing strategies to fix any issues.
Manage all assigned jobs cost effectively and to the agreed budget, including scheduling labor hours and materials.
Monitor crew production in comparison to contracted figures
Participate in snow operations
When necessary, assist crews to meet work and scheduling demands
Communicate with the Maintenance Director regarding customer questions and concerns.
Follow proper procedures to ensure timely billing of completed jobs
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license
Excellent customer relation and conflict resolution skills
Experienced use in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn industry programs quickly.
Ability to compose proposals, client communications, and evaluations of employees and assigned properties
5+ years of experience in landscape industry in a leadership position
2+ years of experience as an account manager
High attention to detail
Excellent leadership skills
Exceptional Plant ID skills
Plant /Turf disease/insect ID skills
Great professional communication skills
