Position Overview
We are seeking a talented, motivated, and caring Dental Assistant to join our busy, growing endodontic practice in Aurora, CO. In this role, you’ll be an essential partner in delivering top-quality care, helping ensure each patient’s experience is smooth, comfortable, and positive from start to finish. You’ll assist in clinical procedures, maintain sterilization protocols, support patient education, and help the team create a welcoming, efficient practice environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, supplies, and materials
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring they feel welcome and at ease
- Assist the endodontist during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a sterile field
- Take and process digital radiographs with accuracy and care
- Mix and place materials for endodontic procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Educate patients on post-op care, oral hygiene, and procedure follow-ups
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Support dental and medical emergency preparedness by maintaining CPR certification and supplies
- Help monitor and manage dental inventory and equipment maintenance
- Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing professional development
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience a plus!
- X-ray certification (required)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and patient-relations skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate provider and patient needs
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and a commitment to continuous learning
- Proficiency with infection control procedures and dental equipment care
