From the first part you inspect to the final audit you support, your day centers on safeguarding product quality. You’ll move from station to station verifying that manufactured components meet specification, isolating nonconforming pieces, and coordinating with the quality team to resolve customer and supplier concerns. Your toolkit includes gauges, calipers, micrometers, and a trained eye for detail.

Perform quality checks on manufactured parts and sort nonconforming items to identify what can be re-processed.

Investigate and document defective material, ensuring proper disposition and feedback to production.

Carry out calibrations and conduct thorough visual quality assessments.

Partner with the quality assurance team to address customer and supplier claims and drive resolution.

Contribute to internal and external quality audits.

Knowledge of divisional machining processes and capabilities.

Familiarity with the division’s manufactured parts and customer base.

Background working with stainless steel materials and related processing (preferred).

Understanding of gage calibration systems and hands-on experience performing calibrations.

Exceptional attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

At least 1 year of experience on the Company production floor or in a similar manufacturing environment.
