Fabrication Specialist
Warming Trends is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, operates tools and machinery with precision, and is committed to producing high-quality work. This role requires proficiency with standard shop tools, the ability to read blueprints, and strong attention to detail in ensuring both functional and aesthetic product quality. Job Responsibilities:
- Operate technical machines and tools to fabricate products according to blueprints and shop orders.
- Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks; safely operate standard shop tools and machines with proficiency.
- Perform MIG welding on metal components with attention to accuracy, strength, and aesthetics.
- Perform metal finishing duties including preparing materials for powder coating, cleaning surfaces, or grinding and sandblasting as needed.
- Operate machines and equipment to ensure final products are made to quality standards, blueprint specifications, or shop orders. Equipment may include laser cutting machine, time saver, stud welder, and other standard fabrication tools or machines.
- Support production flow by moving materials and components between workstations, hanging parts for powder coating, unhanging coated parts, and delivering completed work to the next phase of production.
- Visually inspect parts during fabrication to ensure quality and accuracy; ensure both functional and aesthetic quality of finished products.
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 5S principles.
- Will perform other production duties at times.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication with understanding of basic fabrication principles is required.
- Able to accurately read a variety of measuring devices.
- Familiarity with technical blueprints and written work orders.
- Experience working with standard shop tools is required.
- Ability to MIG (and TIG) weld.
- Previous experience operating fiber laser cutting machine is a plus.
- Previous experience with powder coating or painting in a paint booth setting, such as automotive or industrial painting using a spray gun, is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Adaptability to changing project needs while ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift to 50 lbs
Starting Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly rate with discretionary annual bonus

Schedule: Standard shift runs Monday – Friday, 7AM-3:30PM. Some overtime is needed (seasonally).
