Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join our team in a fast-paced industrial fabrication environment. This position is responsible for producing high-quality welds on carbon and stainless steel piping systems while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Candidates must be able to pass a 2” Schedule 80 carbon steel weld test and demonstrate strong experience in stainless steel pipe welding.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Shift schedule may vary based on production needs (overtime may be required)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality pipe welding on carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Fit, cut, grind, and prepare pipe materials for welding
- Complete welds according to company and customer specifications
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, alignment, and structural integrity
- Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a 2” Schedule 80 carbon steel weld test
- Proven experience in stainless steel pipe welding required
- Experience with TIG and/or Stick welding preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
