Duties
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process using salon software.
- Shadow and learn from the hairstylists to gain skills to become a full time hairstylist
- Assist stylists to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage retail sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the salon by disinfecting tools, stations, and common areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries, and handling client check-outs efficiently.
- Aid in store management tasks such as restocking supplies, and organizing retail displays.
- Washing and folding laundry.
Requirements
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with clients and team members while providing outstanding customer service.
- Basic understanding of sanitation practices within a salon setting to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
- Cosmetology license or permit
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills!
