Overview

Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and loaders to transport raw materials and finished products safely across the production site
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, including CAD software plans, to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining tools to fabricate molds, form concrete structures, and perform finishing tasks
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safety standards are met and machinery operates smoothly
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and curing processes to produce precise precast components according to specifications
- Follow strict safety protocols during all phases of production, including heavy lifting, outdoor work conditions, and equipment operation
Skills
- Proficiency in forklift operation, loader handling, and heavy equipment management in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance, machining processes, and equipment troubleshooting
- Experience reading technical drawings, blueprints (including CAD software), and interpreting mixture designs for concrete production
- Strong understanding of safety standards applicable in precast manufacturing environments; committed to maintaining a safe workspace
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols; physically fit for outdoor work conditions
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing techniques
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to mixture ratios, dimensions from blueprints; warehouse experience is a plus
