Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the property is safe, functional, and aesthetically always maintained. This role oversees the maintenance team and coordinates all preventative maintenance, repair work, and cleaning operations to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance. The Maintenance Technician also manages the facility maintenance budget, and participates in cross-training for the other Capital Eleven managed properties.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
- Oversee and ensure completion of daily preventative maintenance routines for all building systems, equipment, and safety features.
- Monitor and track all work orders, ensuring they are completed promptly and thoroughly.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance or safety needs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
- Maintain and oversee the maintenance budget for the building, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Oversee and ensure health code regulations are met at the property swimming pool and fitness center.
Facility Management & Compliance
- Ensure the community’s physical environment is well-maintained, safe, and complaint with company standards and owner/investor expectations.
- Maintain organized records of maintenance schedules, inspections, repairs, service agreements, and compliance documentation.
- Oversee inventory and procurement of maintenance and housekeeping supplies.
Cross-Building Collaboration
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation coverage for the Capital Eleven managed properties.
- Cross-train to understand and learn the procedures and processes in the various buildings to provide optional support as needed.
Safety & Risk Management
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and building codes, as well as company policies.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning agents, chemicals, and maintenance tools.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols for staff, residents, and visitors.
Part Time Position with opportunity to transition into full time.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
