Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Floor Shield/Concrete Coating Installer to join our growing River Valley Floor Shield team. This position is full time and involves preparing concrete surfaces and installing high-quality concrete coating systems in residential and commercial spaces, including garages, basements, patios, and shop floors.
The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering professional results and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete surfaces through grinding, patching, cleaning, and repairs
- Install epoxy, polyaspartic, and other concrete coating systems
- Apply decorative flake and topcoat finishes
- Operate grinders, vacuums, mixers, and coating equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Follow company safety procedures and installation standards
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Assist with additional shop or labor tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Construction, flooring, painting, or concrete experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor daily
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Occasional overtime work depending on project schedule
