Position Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and basic knowledge of electrical components and wiring. Candidates with hands-on electrical experience are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform basic electrical wiring, connections, and cable routing
- Install and secure components such as switches, relays, connectors, and wiring harnesses
- Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot minor assembly or wiring issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, or components is a must
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with basic electrical assembly (e.g., wiring, crimping, soldering)
- Familiarity with electrical schematics or diagrams
- Ability to use multimeters or basic testing equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to [25–50 lbs]
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and standard industrial conditions
Notes:
This position does not require advanced electrical certification, but candidates with foundational electrical knowledge or experience will be given preference.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
