Job Title: Part-time Cook/Kitchen Assistant
Job Overview: Short order cooking for FirstFoods Deli, recording inventory upon food/supply deliveries, cooking and/or assisting with set up and take down for special events, tablecloths and skirts dressed/taken down as needed, and assisting other staff with cleaning responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Previous food-handling experience a plus, willing to train good candidates. Food handling certification will need to be obtained before start date.
Hours: Up to 29 hours per week. Occasionally more than 29 hours to accommodate special events scheduled on church calendar.
Schedule:
Sunday: 7:00am-12:00pm (Required to work 2-3 Sunday morning coffee service shifts per month)
Monday: 8:30am-2:00pm
Tuesday: 9:00am-2:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am-7:00pm (from mid-August until April)
Thursday: 9:00am-2:00pm
Friday: 8:30am-11:30am (Required to work 2-3 Friday shifts per month)
