Salary - $72k to $75k per year – (possibly higher for an exceptional candidate)

Hours - Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, full-cycle Bookkeeper to oversee our daily financial operations. In this role, you will manage full cycle accounts payable/receivables process payroll, and ensure strict compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, code, and pay vendor invoices and subcontractor payment applications. Resolve discrepancies and maintain healthy vendor relationships.
- Prepare progress billings, track outstanding receivables, and conduct commercial collections to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Prepare and post journal entries (JEs), maintain the general ledger (GL), and perform month-end reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts.
- Generate customized financial reports and budget summaries using accounting software and Excel.
- Administer payroll. Verify timecards, track job costs, and maintain accurate payroll records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Deep understanding of construction billing, lien waivers, and state/federal tax compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and construction-specific accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Contractor, Sage 300, or Procore).
