Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail oriented Receiving and Shipping Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within our distribution center. Your leadership will ensure seamless coordination of shipping and receiving processes, uphold safety standards, and drive continuous process improvements. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all inbound and outbound shipments
- Be responsible for assessing and grading incoming inventory and communicating with leadership about pricing strategy and marketing needs
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on safety, productivity, and quality
- Coordinate with engineering to continually innovate across our proprietary ERP and inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels, utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management best practices
- Coordinate with logistics providers, 3PL partners, and internal departments to streamline distribution center operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols during all material handling activities involving heavy lifting and mechanical equipment operation
- Manage the operation of material handling equipment including forklifts, ensuring proper training and certification for team members
Skills
- Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain management with a focus on shipping & receiving operations
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management and managerial communication abilities
- Proficiency in inventory control, inventory management systems, product pricing, and Microsoft Office tools
- Mechanical and technical knowledge to assess, triage, and own dispute workflows, and insurance claims for damaged, missing, or incorrectly categorized products
- Knowledge of 3PL services, e-commerce fulfillment processes, and distribution center operations
- Ability to implement process improvements using lean management techniques for continuous operational enhancement
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety protocols
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and documentation processes

Pay: $39,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
