Join our vibrant team as a Breakfast Server, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable morning experiences for our guests. In this lively role, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming guests, taking orders, serving delicious breakfast items, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Your energy and attention to detail will set the tone for a fantastic start to each guest’s day. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their breakfast experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, including handling beverage service, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure smooth service flow
- Process cash transactions accurately while managing POS systems like OpenTable for reservations and guest management
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience, especially in breakfast or fine dining settings, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy mornings
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
- Experience in wine knowledge, spirits, or cocktail service is advantageous but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or assisting in kitchen areas
