Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Corporate Accountant - Commercial Real Estate in Garden Grove, CA. The Corporate Accountant manages full-cycle accounting for corporate and property ownership entities within a commercial real estate environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property-level reporting, complex intercompany transactions, and financial system oversight using MRI and Avid.

Annual Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 Annually BOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting for corporate and property ownership entities, including the preparation of entity-level and corporate financial statements.
- Oversee intercompany accounting processes, ensuring accurate allocations and eliminations across various ownership structures.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain effective cash management protocols.
- Execute property-level accounting tasks within MRI, including CAM estimates, reconciliations, and tenant billings.
- Process management fee, G&A, and intercompany billings to ensure organizational financial accuracy.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for all assigned portfolios.
- Prepare lender and reserve reporting in compliance with specific financing agreements.
- Support financial due diligence and reporting for property acquisitions and dispositions.
- Assist with external audits and tax preparation by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Drive process improvements and provide oversight for accounting systems, including MRI and Avid.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in full-cycle accounting specifically within the commercial real estate industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in property-level accounting using MRI software.
- Extensive knowledge of intercompany accounting, including allocations and eliminations for complex entity structures.
- Direct experience with CAM reconciliations and commercial tenant billing processes.
- Ability to manage lender reporting requirements and capital reserve accounts.
- Previous experience assisting with financial audits and tax preparation tasks.
- Familiarity with Avid or similar automated accounts payable and process improvement tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk in a professional office environment.
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision for analyzing financial data and computer screens.
- Occasional light lifting of files and office supplies may be necessary.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
