Education and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience, which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in civil engineering or a related engineering field; AND
-
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in project management and professional engineering and infrastructure planning, design, plan review, permitting, and project administration experience.
Licenses and Certifications

Possession of a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving history.

Possession of, or ability to obtain within six (6) months of appointment, a Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer license to practice in the State of Oregon.
Union Representation: This position is not represented by a union.
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Tigard is a progressive employer with a 4-day work (Monday-Thursday) week. Work schedule includes a combination of office and off-site meetings (some evenings) There is an opportunity for remote work up to 1 day per week.
