Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and observe patient conditions to report changes promptly to healthcare professionals
- Engage residents through social activities, companionship, and behavioral management techniques to promote mental well-being
- Operate assistive devices including Hoyer lifts and perform manual handling safely to prevent injury
- Prepare meals in accordance with dietary plans and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and cleaning protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes is highly preferred
- Certification in First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), Basic Life Support (BLS), and crisis intervention is required or obtainable upon hire
- Familiarity with patient safety standards, HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and EMR systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans
- Strong communication skills for caregiver interactions and patient condition reporting

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
