Responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle estimating efforts for commercial construction projects ranging from tenant improvements to large ground-up developments
- Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, quantity takeoffs, bid packages, and GM proposals
- Analyze drawings, specifications, subcontractor pricing, and project documentation
- Develop and maintain subcontractor/vendor relationships throughout the Southeast market
- Partner closely with project management and operations teams during turnover and preconstruction phases
- Participate in scope reviews, value engineering, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy discussions
- Assist with project scheduling, logistics planning, and preconstruction coordination
- Support multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced commercial construction environment
- Mentor junior estimators and assist with process improvement initiatives
Qualifications

7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Experience with ground-up commercial and/or large-scale interior renovation projects
- Background within industrial, retail, office, healthcare, or mixed commercial sectors preferred
- Strong understanding of conceptual estimating, hard bids, negotiated work, and GMP structures
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings/specifications
