Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential environments, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects.
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, installation, or repair tasks with precision.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an electrician in residential or commercial settings required. Pay is based on experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Experience working with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage electrical wiring in construction or renovation projects.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and adherence to electrical safety procedures at all times.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Ability to work on construction sites safely while managing multiple tasks efficiently; previous construction experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of local electrical codes including NEC regulations; valid licensing or certification is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, high voltage wiring, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
