Salt Creek Club is a premier swim and tennis club nestled in the beautiful community of Hinsdale, IL. Our members enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere where high-quality food from our seasonal grill is an essential part of their membership experience.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're seeking a talented Cook to join our team for our summer grill (Memorial Day through Labor Day) as well as our winter cooking, catering, special events team. We are open to as much as 40 hours per week or a part-time position with potential to grow.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay range of $18-$28/hour, based on experience and skills

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare catering and made to order food for events
- Prepare high-quality, consistent food at our seasonal grill
- Create delicious offerings for special club events throughout the year
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced grill environment
- Maintain impeccable food safety standards and kitchen organization
- Collaborate with our team, including seasonal staff, to ensure smooth service operations
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Proven cooking experience (required)
- Current Illinois Food Handler Certificate (required)
- Proficiency in various food preparation techniques
- Excellence in maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak service times
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse team members, including teenage seasonal staff
- Commitment to delivering consistently high-quality food in a casual, family-oriented club setting
- Authorized to work in the United States -documents verifying work eligibility
