Under the direction of the NCSU Neurodevelopmental Team Specialists the Neurodevelopmental Team Assistant will model implementation of instructional and behavioral protocols for school teams, assist with cross-over training, and assist in the creation of materials for instruction, program implementation and professional development activities. The qualified candidates will have experience working with children with significant neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism and/or intellectual disability; implementing structured teaching strategies; and utilizing augmentative communication (e.g., Picture Exchange Communication and/or voice output devices), ABA instructional activities (e.g. discrete trials learning), and data collection. Associates Degree or equivalent is required as well as specific training in structured teaching and autism. Candidates will have at least 5 years experience working with students who are significantly impacted by neurodevelopmental disabilities.**Salary and benefits: Hourly wage between $24.85 and $26.00, depending on previousexperience.
