Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across various settings, including assessment, monitoring, and treatment in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, wound care, and medication administration while maintaining patient safety.
- Document accurately in chart by dictating, monitor patient status, and update care plans to reflect changes.
- Assist in post-surgery recovery and PACU care, ensuring comfort, airway management, and timely communication with physicians.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, health coaching, and discharge instructions, promoting continuity of care
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed in applicable region; current ACLS/CPR certification
- Proficient in patient assessment, basic life support, IV insertion, catheterization, tube feeding, and overall patient care
- Experience with PACU or post-surgery recovery is a plus
- Ability to work in diverse settings , surgery and clinic sides of office; strong critical thinking and communication skills
