We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice that emphasizes comprehensive dental care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and oral health, performing a wide range of hygiene services to help maintain and improve patients' dental health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work alongside a team of dental professionals to deliver high-quality care while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Our hygienists are paid the greater of a guaranteed hourly base rate or a percentage of adjusted production—ensuring you're fairly compensated for the exceptional care you provide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update patient records accurately, documenting all procedures, treatment needs and obtaining necessary dental radiographs utilizing Open Dental.
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, taking blood pressure readings, and noting any changes in oral health.
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including periodontal assessments and comprehensive dental charting.
- Apply preventive treatments, such as fluoride and sealants, to protect teeth from decay.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and diet recommendations.
- Support in the sterilization of dental instruments following all infection control protocols.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients, offering reassurance and addressing concerns during procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Experience
Candidates should have:
- A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in dental terminology.
- Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- A commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry best practices.
