The Business Analyst will be the key person responsible for one or more software engineering projects working with the project managers, architects, software engineers, and end-users as well interacting with organizational stakeholders. The analyst will gather and analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical requirements for use by the Development team to build and configure the required systems using company technical standards.
Focus spreads across several systems and the integration of those systems to deliver maximum efficiency and business value. The analyst must consider information flow and data requirements, as well as make strategic decisions about what functionality belongs to what system.
The analyst plays a role in clarifying, updating, and improving the business processes impacted by the changes that are part of technology project. This requires interactions with various members of the company’s business community to elicit process and define end-to-end updates accepted by all groups.
