Position Overview
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and long-term success of multiple physician practices. This leader will drive operational efficiency, financial performance, patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.
The ideal candidate is a strategic healthcare leader with strong experience in physician practice operations, revenue cycle management, team development, and healthcare compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Direct and oversee daily operations of multiple outpatient clinics.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including patient access, productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure efficient staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
Financial Management
- Manage operating budgets and financial performance across assigned practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Monitor provider productivity and operational efficiency.
Leadership & Team Development
- Establish performance expectations and accountability measures.
- Promote employee engagement, professional growth, and a positive workplace culture.
- Lead organizational change initiatives and operational improvement projects.
Patient Experience & Quality
- Champion initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and service excellence.
- Resolve escalated patient concerns and operational issues.
- Support quality improvement programs and patient safety initiatives.
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional patient-centered care.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure adherence to organizational policies and quality standards.
Strategic Planning
- Partner with physicians and executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
- Support practice growth, acquisitions, and service line expansion.
- Utilize data analytics to drive informed business decisions and operational improvements.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience overseeing physician practices, clinics, or healthcare operations.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Preferred
- Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related field).
- Experience managing multiple practice locations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
