As an Order Selector, you will play a vital role in our company's daily operations, ensuring all orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently. Our order selectors average $22.00 per hour. We pay a base rate plus an additional amount for each case you pick, so the more you pick, the more you earn! Your work will be challenging, but with the right mindset and eagerness to learn, you’ll become an integral part of our team.
Located in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, Lakeside Pepsi is a family-owned company. Our roots extend for almost 100 years, and we are dedicated to the community and our people. With a staff of approximately 60 employees, we are big enough to offer several opportunities, yet small enough to maintain that family feeling.
Responsibilities
· Follows instructions provided on load sheet to build pallet load (s), making note of specific product required, number of cases, safe stacking levels, and stacking pattern of pallet load.
· Complete work accurately and efficiently.
· Meet daily production goals.
· Repackages damaged product or returns product to WISPAK; makes notation of any product items being returned for inventory records.
· Stacks empty pallets according to size and returns to specific area of warehouse.
· Replenishes product from storage areas to building areas as necessary.
· Assists with various other warehouse tasks such as sweeping floors, mopping spills, cleaning work areas, taking garbage out to dumpsters, and picking up litter around perimeter of facilities.
· Obtains product for walk-in orders and assists customer in getting product loaded into vehicle.
Requirements
· 1-2 years of experience preferred but not required in a warehouse setting.
· Ability to read, interpret, and carry out general daily instructions.
· Good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with co-workers, supervisor, and customers.
· Detailed-oriented and able to work at a fast pace.
· Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Must be either Forklift Certified or willing to obtain this certification.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
