Our established, patient-centered private dental practice is looking for a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician / Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team.

ResponsibilitiesSterilization
- Clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and organize dental instruments in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Maintain sterilization logs and monitor biological testing.
- Perform routine maintenance of sterilization equipment.
- Keep the sterilization area clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Ensure operatories are fully stocked and prepared for patient care.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
Dental Hygiene Assistant
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after hygiene appointments.
- Set up instruments and materials for dental hygienists.
- Take digital dental X-rays (X-Ray Certification Required).
- Chart patient information and update clinical records.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions.
- Clean and disinfect treatment rooms between patients.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering clinical supplies.
- Assist the doctors during hygiene exams when needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Provide additional support to the clinical team as needed to maintain an efficient daily schedule.
Qualifications
- Current Dental X-Ray Certification (Required)
- Previous dental experience preferred.
- Knowledge of dental sterilization, infection control, OSHA, and CDC guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
