Duties

- Support the dietary department by preparing specialized meals tailored to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs
- Engage with guests through friendly service, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food, setting up serving stations, and managing timely delivery of meals
- Use knife skills and culinary techniques to efficiently prepare ingredients, ensuring consistency and efficiency in meal prep
Requirements
- Proven experience in dietary aide roles or dietary departments within healthcare or hospitality settings
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations within restaurant or fine dining environments
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling practices
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior culinary experience in the food industry or restaurant settings is highly desirable
