Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney specializing in Litigation to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in court proceedings. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across various practice areas including general & commercial litigation, employment law, personal injury law, and more
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests with precision and clarity
- Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and coordinating with clients and witnesses for depositions and court appearances
- Manage case files efficiently using legal case management systems to ensure timely updates and compliance with procedural laws
- Negotiate settlements and legal terms with opposing counsel while maintaining a focus on client interests
- Assist in court depositions, hearings, and other litigation proceedings to advocate effectively on behalf of clients
- Support senior attorneys in complex legal research related to estate planning, environmental law, tribal regulations, securities law, workers' compensation law, immigration law, patent law, and statutory legal research
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in general & commercial litigation along with personal injury case experience
- Strong knowledge of procedural law and courtroom procedures
- Excellent research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms
- Demonstrated ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents including motions and contracts
- Experience with trial preparation, legal negotiation, and client communication
- Familiarity with employment law cases and employment-related legal motions
- Exceptional writing skills combined with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly
- Prior law office experience with exposure to diverse practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, tribal regulations, patent law, and more is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively

Pay: $125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
