Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Prepare nutritious meals and manage medication reminders to support health and well-being
- Provide companionship through engaging conversations, recreational activities, and emotional support
- Help with household tasks including light cleaning, laundry, and organization to maintain a tidy living environment
- Monitor safety by conducting regular checks and responding promptly to any emergencies or needs
- Maintain detailed records of care provided, daily routines, and any changes in health or behavior
- Collaborate with family members or healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and personalized care plans
Experience
- Prior experience in caregiving, personal assistance, or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond empathetically
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility safely and confidently
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a positive attitude in supporting others’ needs
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or care requirements
