Prairie Gymnastics Club is a locally owned, community-focused gym dedicated to helping children build confidence, strength, and a love for movement in a fun, positive environment. We're looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Part-Time Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our team!
Whether you're an experienced coach or someone with gymnastics experience and a passion for working with kids, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Details
Position: Part-Time Recreational Gymnastics Coach
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Schedule:
- Afternoon, evening, and weekend hours available
- School-year availability required
- Additional summer hours may be available

Responsibilities
- Coach preschool and recreational gymnastics classes for children of various ages and skill levels
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Help athletes build confidence, coordination, and fundamental gymnastics skills
- Provide excellent customer service to families and students
- Assist with class set-up, equipment organization, and basic gym upkeep
- Maintain a clean and safe training environment
- Follow all Prairie Gymnastics Club, USA Gymnastics, and SafeSport policies and procedures
- Participate in staff meetings and training opportunities
- Assist with special events, camps, open gyms, and other programs as needed
- Occasionally assist with team practices based on experience and availability

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous gymnastics, cheer, dance, tumbling, or youth sports experience
- Experience teaching or working with children
- Recreational gymnastics coaching experience preferred, but not required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a USA Gymnastics Background Check
- Ability to obtain a USA Gymnastics Instructor Membership within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
