- Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
- Location: Newton, NJ
- Shift: Day Shift | 10-hour shifts | 4 days/week
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks- with possibly extension
- Weekly Gross Pay: $3,000/week for 40 guaranteed hours
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience required
- ARRT Certification required
- RCIS is required
- BLS Certification (AHA) required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, sterile techniques, and imaging protocols
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for various Cath Lab procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
- Assist physicians and clinical teams during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and other specialized imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure proper equipment setup, functionality, and safety standards are maintained
- Maintain a sterile field and strictly follow infection prevention and control protocols
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and assist with emergency situations as needed
- Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility guidelines
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
