We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join a stable and well-established operation in Crookston, MN. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive hourly pay, excellent benefits, and a unique schedule that provides extended time off.
Position Details
- Job Title: Electrician
- Location: Crookston, MN and East Grand Forks, MN
- Pay: $42.42/hour (union position – set rate)
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (DuPont schedule)
- Shift Times:
- Days: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Nights: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Schedule Overview (DuPont Rotation)
- Week 1: 4 consecutive night shifts followed by 3 days off
- Week 2: 3 day shifts, 1 day off, then 3 night shifts
- Week 3: 3 days off, then 4 consecutive day shifts
- Week 4: 7 consecutive days off
This schedule averages approximately 14 working days per month.
Training
- Initial training will take place Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Training duration ranges from 2 weeks up to 3 months depending on experience
- After training, employees transition to the DuPont rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Support preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Class A Journeyman Electrician License (MN or ND) required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
