2nd shift hours - M-F 2PM-10:30PM
Job Function:
- Support production requirements by providing machine operation along with quality assurance.
- Support the company’s vision and values in performance of daily activities.
- Adhere to all company policies and quality procedures to manufacture precision parts.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Will be directly responsible for degreasing, de-burring, washing and packaging operations.
· Required to understand, and perform work instructions without deviation.
· Will use SAP for product traceability and logistics throughout department.
· Required to execute all departmental required quality inspections.
· Required to understand product functionality, manufacturing and customer expectations.
· Required to utilize basic mathematical skills and have an understanding of process data.
· Assist the production team as necessary and maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the plant following 5S principles.
· Support plant activities in maintaining quality registration, not limited to; TS 16949, ISO 14001.
· Assure all OSHA safety procedures are properly followed and use protective equipment where necessary in performing daily work.
· Keep abreast of technological changes and developments within the organization.
· Support process improvement initiative and activities as directed by management.
Essential Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Physical Demands:
- Duties include and are not limited to: see, talk, stand, walk, lift, twist and bend.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibrations and hazardous materials.
