Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring the bar operates smoothly. This position involves maintaining cleanliness, assisting with stocking and storying alcoholic beverages, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware as needed.
- Handle bussing duties by clearing empty glasses and plates from tables.
- Support food preparation tasks as required, ensuring timely service during busy hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs.
- Assist with catering events and banquets as necessary, ensuring all service standards are met.
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Experience in food preparation and handling within the food & beverage industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS.
- Previous experience in nightclubs, restaurants, or hotels is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing great customer service.

Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
