Inspire Malibu is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Therapist and Supervisor to join our team! We are a dual-diagnosis treatment facility providing stabilization through detox, residential, and outpatient services. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

- LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in acute care, psychology, or substance use disorder settings
- Active registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from substance abuse and/or mental illness.
- DHCS Standard 13010(b)(6) requires personnel file to contain health screening report and tuberculosis test results.

Core Competencies and Performance Expectations:
- Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems and 12-step/recovery resources in the community.
- Ability to facilitate therapy groups effectively
- Provide accurate and timely narrative documentation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Knowledge of mandated reporting protocols and compliance requirements
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions
- Report significant client behavioral changes to the clinical team
- Demonstrate cultural competence and work effectively with diverse populations
- Maintain professional standards and ethical practices at all times
- Establish and maintain appropriate personal boundaries with clients
- Support Inspire Malibu’s line of authority and contribute to a positive work environment
- Conduct mental status examinations.
- Crisis intervention services, including 5150 determinations.
- Provide Utilizations Reviews as required.
- Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues.
