Qualifications:
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals & common fractions.
- Measurement: Utilize measuring including tape measure, calipers, protractor, thickness gage.
- Quality Mindset: Plan and verify accuracy of work within specified tolerances.
- Experience: Knowledge of press brake tooling and tooling applications.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Other Manufacturing Skills: Highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up press brake tooling and bending strategies.
- Responsible for programming and operation of a CNC press brake.
- Set-up and operate press brake to bend sheet metal to drawing specifications and tolerances.
- Responsible for utilizing common measurement devices to check part compliance to specifications and read blue prints.
- Plan and produce work product based on work instructions, prints and routers for the job.
- Utilize measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, protractor, thickness gage, etc. to check and ensure accuracy of work.
- Knowledge of press brake operation and material limitations and behavior.
- Performs operator daily maintenance of machine and tooling as required.
