Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of bar operations, including drink preparation, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Train and develop staff on beverage techniques, POS systems like Aloha and Micros, and customer service excellence.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and processing transactions accurately.
- Oversee food preparation related to bar service, such as garnishing and small food items, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure smooth service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering.
- Monitor stock levels regularly, place orders for beverages and supplies, and minimize waste through effective inventory control.
- Lead shift management by assigning tasks, supervising staff performance, and ensuring a positive team environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, bar service, or restaurant management with a focus on quick service or casual dining environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality or food industry settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong background in food safety management, kitchen management, and food handling procedures.
- Experience managing budgets, profit & loss analysis, and implementing training & development programs for staff.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and handle managerial responsibilities like interviewing and staff training.
- Prior experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
