Rubicon General Contractors is seeking superintendents who are experienced with commercial building office interiors. The Superintendent is responsible for the construction schedule, project site, sub-contractors, quality, communications, and the coordination of all project tasks. The Superintendent ensures daily tasks are carried out safely, correctly, within budget, and on schedule, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and industry standards. Meeting or exceeding the clients' expectations at all times during the project is significant. Superintendent must establish effective relationships with the team, including subcontractors, project managers, and office administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate And Supervise All Project Tasks.
- Foster A Positive Team Environment
- Daily Written Communications
- Prepare, Conduct, and Document Onsite Meetings with Team Members
- Prepare And Maintain Baseline Construction Schedule
- Able To Identify And Solve Problems
- Provide Thorough Written Documentation Daily
- Schedule All Inspections
- Plan, Coordinate, Enforce All OSHA Safety Standards
- Maintain OSHA 30 Hour Certification
- Adhere To All Corporate Policy And Procedures
- Encourage Safe Work Practices, And Rectify Job Site Hazards Immediately
- Maintain Positive Relationships With Clients, Subcontractors, Suppliers, And Other Team Members.
- Perform All Other Related Duties As Assigned.
- Plan Site Tasks In Accordance with Building Rules and Regulations or Project Requirements
- Ensure All Work Performed Complies With Construction Documents
- Complete Progress Reports And Look Ahead Schedules Weekly
- Foster A Productive And Positive Relationship With All Team Members
- Ensure On-Time Completion Of Final Punch Lists And Certificate of Completion
- Maintain Professional Appearance and Conduct At All Times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have strong people skills, along with good verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have a high degree of integrity and trust.
* Must be dependable, well-organized, aggressive, and energetic.
* Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
* Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and recognize and address work-related issues as they occur.
* Ability to resolve conflict effectively in a firm but fair manner.
* Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office (outlook, word & excel) and Project Schedule.
* Must have a valid driver's license and be drug-free.
EXPERIENCE:
· Construction Experience: 10 years (Required)
· Commercial Superintendent: 5 years (Required)
· Commercial Office Class A Interior Renovation: 5 years
