We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medications to patients and providing quality care in various healthcare settings.
Duties:
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and document patient responses to medications
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Maintain accurate medication records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of physiology
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Familiarity with catheter care procedures
- Knowledge of senior care, hospice care, and dementia care practices
- Experience with tube feeding protocols
- Ability to handle acute care situations effectively
