Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) is seeking an HR Process Improvement & Analytics Intern to support Human Resources. This opportunity provides hands-on exposure to HR operations, workforce planning, compliance readiness, records management, analytics, talent development, and process improvement initiatives that help strengthen organizational effectiveness.
As an HR Process Improvement & Analytics Intern, you will work alongside experienced HR professionals while contributing to meaningful projects across key functional areas. You will help improve workflows, organize and digitize records, support audit readiness, conduct research and analysis, and develop recommendations that enhance the employee and business experience.

What You'll Do
As an HR Process Improvement & Analytics Intern, you will support projects and recurring activities that contribute to HR effectiveness, compliance readiness, talent development, workforce planning, and process optimization.
You will:

Gain hands-on experience across a broad range of Human Resources activities and functional areas.

Digitize personnel files, organize and archive administrative records, and support document retention standards.

Review HR checklists, verify completion, digitize supporting documentation, andassist with audit and compliance readiness.

Identify, document, and improve onboarding, termination, and other HR workflows through process mapping and analysis.

Support research, analytics, workforce planning, talent development, and process improvement initiatives.

Collect, organize, analyze, and summarize HR or workforce information to support business decisions and project recommendations.

Prepare clear process documentation, presentations, reports, and other work products for HR team or leadership review.

Communicate progress, questions, or barriers while managing assignments and collaborating with employees and leaders across the organization.

Present a final capstone project summarizing insights, recommendations, and data-informed solutions to HR leadership.
What You Bring

Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate degree program in Human Resources, Business Management, Analytics, Management, Communications, ora related field.

Interest in Human Resources, organizational development, workforce planning, business operations, compliance, analytics, or process improvement.

Strongproficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to organize information,identify opportunities, and summarize findings.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional documentation and presentations.

Attention to detail and a commitment tomaintaining accurate, confidential, and well-organized records.

Coursework, academic projects, or prior experience involving Human Resources, business operations, organizational development, workforce planning, compliance, or talent development.

Experience preparing professional documents, presentations, research summaries, or administrative work products.
Analytics & Process Improvement

Coursework, projects, or experience involving analytics, research, process mapping, workflow documentation, records management, or process improvement.

Experience using Excel to organize information, perform basic analysis,identify trends, or support reporting.

Ability to review detailed information,identify gaps or improvement opportunities, and develop practical recommendations.
