Our staff includes specialist in sensory processing (OT), speech and language development, and positive behavioral psychology. We have teachers with concentrations in music, art, dance, environmental education and STEM.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Encourage relational learning and ensure children have and make choices.
- Create engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
- Monitor and assess child progress daily and provide written assessments to Lead Teachers.
- Supervise teaching assistants who support the children and classroom.
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning and ensuring compliance with MA EEC Standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required Early Childhood Education or related field - preferred).
- Min. 2 years prior teaching experience working with toddlers and infants.
- Knowledge of child development theories and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of positive behavioral psychology
- Experience with assessment tools and writing progress reports to support the work of Lead Teachers.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to lift young children regularly throughout the day.
Wages based on years of experience, college degrees attained in early education and related fields, and certifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,000.00 - $56,500.00 per year
