**Asphalt Paving/Maintenance Crew Member**
DKM Asphalt is looking to hire several individuals to work on our asphalt paving and maintenance team. Job duties to include shoveling, raking, operating equipment, driving a dump truck, cleaning the work site, assisting in sealer application, and operating small equipment such as blowers, cut off saws, and plate tampers. Our company specializes in Asphalt Paving, Seal Coating, Crack Sealing, Asphalt & Concrete Removal, and finish grading. Over 90% of our work are commercial projects in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area. Applicants will be required to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time in extreme heat. You must also be able to carry 50 pounds without assistance when needed. Must be 18 years or older to apply with a valid Drivers license and a good driving record. We are a drug-free workplace and perform random drug tests periodically. 1 year experience in asphalt paving/maintenance preferred but not mandatory. Working well with others and the desire to be a part of a team that works together to complete high quality projects is a must. All new applicants will be required to complete a probationary period at a set pay rate prior to being given permanent position. Benefits including 401k and profit sharing available to employees after 1 year of employment. Shirts, gloves, safety glasses, PPE, and tools required for duties provided by company. Paid holidays, bonuses, and overtime pay available to all employees. All team members are paid through lunch and breaks. Company provides individual bottled waters in coolers for each team/truck. All applicants will be required to report to our office in Rio Rancho daily to assist in loading trucks and preparing equipment for the day. All team members are paid to travel to and from the project everyday regardless if your driving a company vehicle or not. Applicants must be willing to work 40+ hours a week. Must be willing to work weekends when needed.

Experience:
- Asphalt paving/maintenance: 1 year (Required) (3+ years preferred)
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record (CDL Class A Or B is a bonus)
- Must be able to complete I-9 form with proof of citizenship or work permit
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work daily.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in extreme heat for long periods of time.
- Must be able to operate company truck with trailer in a safe manner at all times. Must perform safety check of vehicle prior to leaving the office including checking tie downs, fluids, tire pressure, safety chains, and lights.
Required travel:
- 10% or less. Most of our work is in ABQ/Santa Fe area.
