Preferences: Multilingual. Certified by one or more of the following organizations: North American Technician Excellence, Building Performance Institute, Inc., Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, or Community College or Trade School Certification.

Typical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be assigned work orders to replace existing HVAC and/or Water Heater equipment typically located on the ground, roof, or attic. Individuals must complete all installations according to the Building Code, California Energy Commission’s Title-24 and manufacturer’s requirements. Individuals must be able to perform quality work under high-pressure situations; complete necessary electrical work, solder / weld, correctly charge HVAC units, perform duct test, perform water pressure test, and verify and/or trouble shoot operation.

General Job Requirements: Minimum two (2) years demonstrated experience performing HVAC replacement/installations and performing service calls or diagnostic services; High School Diploma, typically possesses two years of customer service experience; must have strong oral and written communication skills. Must possess the ability to take initiative and accountability for quality work, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive work ethic; work with minimal supervision and be a team player. Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull 50 pounds. Must be able to work in attics, roofs, and small places during in extreme hot and cold climate areas. Must maintain a good driving record, and pass required tests, including background check and drug test.
