Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Execute vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake service, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic components following manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues across various vehicle makes, including GM vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a minimum background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, diesel engines, automotive electrical systems, and welding techniques.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment.
- Certification or training in automotive repair or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
